No rain but cold morning (43-degrees at 8:30AM). Didn't deter 11 from joining me for a 3.5 hr hike on the NCT from Dell Rd to Old US 131 Campground this morning, and 4 from joining me for a 2.5 hr paddle back to Baxter Bridge this afternoon. Some sunshine & 53 degrees when we finished our all-day event. Fall is in the air & the leaves are barely starting to turn along the Manistee River. 2 more hike & paddles planned on the Manistee soon! (Report & photos by trip leader, Sara Cockrell)
