Come paddle the fastest water in the lower peninsula. Although it isn’t technically whitewater, paddling the Sturgeon requires you to frequently make quick maneuvers in fast current.  If you have had lots of practice on narrow twisty rivers, this may be the chance you have been waiting for!  We will begin in Wolverine and take out at Fisher Woods Road.

If you aren't sure if your skills are up to the challenge, contact the trip host to discuss whether this is the right trip for you.  You will need good reflexes and a boat that turns quickly.  Bow and stern lines are required.  If you have a throw bag and a saw, bring them along.  Kayakers should take a spray skirt too.  There will be a stop for a leisurely lunch break halfway through the trip.
