Learn what to do when (not "if") you end up out of your boat and in the water. PFD's required and boats with bulkheads, only. Bring plenty of water and sunscreen.

This clinic is designed to teach methods of assisted and self-rescue techniques in the event of capsizing on a lake. We will also cover entering and exiting the kayaks, so we would expect each participant to assist with that part of the instruction.

Wear a swimsuit or other outfit that will be comfortable when you are in the water. Now is your chance to see exactly how much lean you need in order to flip your kayak over; that is a requirement!

This class is led by our own Babs Winckler, who is a certified ACA instructor.
