Tom Auer and I have long wanted to do a cleanup on Boardman Lake.

The Michigan Backcountry Hunters and Anglers asked if we would like to help them do a cleanup on the Lake.

We are ALL IN on this group's effort to do just that.

Come out and join us for a fun day paddling on the lake with these nice people to get it clean and to encourage them to keep doing cleanups of our State's waters.

Most of these people are not from this area and we would be their "guides" and run safety. You all have the skills and are most qualified to do just that.

This is NOT a BRCS project but we want to help them in any way we can to get the lake clean for paddlers, fishermen and wildlife.

Come out on May 15th at 9:00 am to Hull Park in Traverse City and have some fun with us. Bring your boat.

We will concentrate our work at the Southeast end of the lake where most of the plastic trash is located.
