This will be a great opportunity to get out of town and enjoy a local river. This trip will cover the stretch on the Manistee River from M-66 to Lucas Road. The river is wide with quite a few turns and perhaps some underwater obstacles. They shouldn't be a major problem. We will be paddling for about 4 hours, and we will stop along the way for lunch. Fall colors should be excellent.

Driving directions are on the TAPC website. Also included is a map, but DO NOT use the coordinates. Last year 3 cars got lost! Use a map, and look at the satellite view before you start driving. Go to Manistee River (M-66)
