Come join us. . Ron said he  wanted to paddle the Manistee from C38 all the way to Tippy Dam. So here we go!  Come join us for "Ron's Manistee Marathon!" We will be paddling it, in mixed up sections over the summer. This is the first section we will be doing. Come join us doing them all or whatever you feel like doing.

This will be a great opportunity to get out of town and enjoy a local river.  This trip will cover the stretch on the Manistee River from the Sharon Road Canoe Launch to M-66.  The river is wide with quite a few turns and perhaps some underwater obstacles.  They shouldn't be a major problem.  We will be paddling for about 4 hours, and we will stop along the way for lunch.  The trip is an excellent one for families.

Driving directions are on the TAPC website.  Note that there are two different routes, depending on where you live with respect to TC (east side or southwest).  Also included are a map and coordinates.  Go to Manistee River (Sharon Road) or Manistee River (M-66)
