The BRCS was held on the June 11, 2011.
The weather that morning was BAD! But about an hour before we were to meet, the river gods blew the rain, wind, thunder and lightening away and it was cloudy, cool and pretty nice for the cleanup.
About 75-80 people showed up.
Everyone knew what to expect this year because the feint of heart stayed home.
All the crews did a great job and we had help from a few new groups. The US Coast Guard sent a crew and so did the Home Depot.
The River Traverse City , a local downtown canoe livery, sent a crew to the downtown cleanup.
