An absolutely spectacular day on our favorite section of the Manistee! Wilgus', Marcussen's & guest Mike Villo had an early start & finish, passing just a few fishers & campers along the way, and enjoying the bouncy riffles. We spied a mink, a muskrat, and an eagle, along with quite a few blue herons, a gang of teen mergansers, kingfishers, and turtles, plus a pair of redstarts at the take-out, thanks to Paul's spotting skills.
