7 of us cleaned from Forks to the Horse Beach (since Schecks is so difficult to access now) - Jacqui, Steve, Ron, Jackie, Mary King, Paul and Irene. The GTCD cleaned from Forks to Brown Bridge when they cleared the river for access in the late spring. But of course trash had accumulated since then. But not too much. It was a satisfying day but the river is clearly staying cleaner for longer than it ever has - which is so good - even though it makes the hunting much harder!
Since Steve had his waders and his sit-on-top kayak, a bit of a gap opened up between the front and the back of the pack. But no worries, those who got back didn't have to wait for the slow coaches so everyone was happy. It was another beautiful day on the river!
An onlooker on the bank took several photos as we passed and sent them to Irene. This was the best of them.
