It was so great that Norm got us permission to use River Pitch (from Tim Brick). This half section took the ones who stayed with Steve 3hrs to clean. Steve's waders allow him to get into places the rest of us can't and that takes time. But his bag was the only full one! Which means the river is pretty clean.
My find of the year was a nearly new grabber, longer and lighter than either of the two I already have. It works well too, now that I have flushed most of the sand out of its mechanism. It was lying on the sandy bottom of a side channel in just 6" of water. Someone will be missing it I think.
