About this event
Come join us on the Upper Platte River. This is a sweet river. You will need to know how to twist, turn and ferry your boats. There will probably be a few bars (Gravel Bars that is) on the way. We will not be stopping for lunch but can go out afterwards. There just really isn't anywhere to stop. So bring plenty of water and snacks that you can munch on while paddling. You will need bow and stern lines on your boats. PFD's will be worn while on the river. Shorter the boats the better, for fast turning and such. We will be getting out at Dead Stream.
