We posted the trip on the TAPC calendar the previous afternoon. It was too hot to be at school. John agreed with me, as did Harold and Marlene. It was a very peaceful float, with a few wildlife sightings, and no other people on the river. We finished more quickly than normal. With a forecast of 0% precipitation, we were a bit surprised to have it rain on us while we were rigging the boats. We all had raingear. But the sunshine was back by the time we launched, and it remained gorgeous for the rest of the day. A sweet trip!

Flowers were still in bloom.
