Lois, John, Harold, Pam, Anne and Allen were joined by Marcy Maller and John Gerty from the Chicago area for a Jordan River Afternoon paddle, Graves Crossing to Webster Road. The weather was appropriate for a mid-May afternoon. Lots of M's were seen: Magnificent Marsh Marigolds; Meandering Muskrats,; Mergus Mergansers and Multiple Mallards. Air temperature was very comfortable (60's), the water is still a little cool. Yes, the water is wet! As a "wave train" exits a tube, a sharp right turn is NOT the way to go! Enjoy the "whole ride" and then make the turn. The group responded as trained, rope throwing and towing my hapless self to shore. The trip then continued as planned. All are looking forward to enjoying the next event.

This is what happens if you cross the eddy line too soon!
