********************** July 27, 2024 Upper Manistee River -CR 612 to M-72 CR612 Bridge - Meet 9:00am, shuttle 9.30am **************************************** Upper Manistee River Paddlers, First, I will not be there. I have to Chemo that week and that will put me out of action. Second, I just got a call from SHELHAVEM, the owners of Long's Livery. They will not let us use their Long's Landing to takeout on a Saturday. That means that you will have to paddle to M72. That will make this trip very long. I suggest you just paddle the river and forgot the cleanup part. The river gets a lot of use and doing a cleanup that long will take too long and be too hard. We'll do better next time.
