About this event
Come join us for an morning trip on the Boardman, only 30 minutes from downtown TC. You will marvel at the remote feeling you get without going very far from home.
We will begin at the Forks Access, take a short break for a snack at Scheck's. We may find some wildflowers, and perhaps wildlife sightings. We will also paddle underneath the two newly constructed footbridges over the river, which connect the hiking trails in the Brown Bridge Quiet Area.
There are several fun riffles along the way. It's a good place to practice maneuvering in current and practicing back ferries.
Paddling time should be about 3 hours. Bring your usual paddling gear, ropes for the bow and stern, a water bottle and a snack.
