Beat the weekend crowds on a cooler morning. River is very low, so expect gravel bars. I will take my Royalex solo canoe, despite the heavy carry up at the West End Bridge. It is 8 miles, narrow with overhanging limbs, stumps & rocks, but easily avoidable. Don't forget your PFD, stern & bow ropes, dry bag and hydration. We will shuttle promptly at 8:30, unless I can do a "reverse shuttle" with someone, so get unloaded beforehand. Since we'll be finished by lunchtime, we could go to Peego's afterwards, so will only take a quick break at Scheck's.
