About this event

11:00 AM
Lost Lake Pathway – offers hiking loops of different distances (6.3 mile, 3.75 mile)

https://www.michigantrailmaps.com/member-detail/lost-lake-pathway/

When we arrive:
Depending on trail conditions, snow depth and interest in distance – we can split into hiking groups (short and long hike) or remain together. If short hike group finishes a bit early, we can all meet at Rico’s.

Please sign-up for one or both activities.

Directions:
Lost Lake Pathway Trail Head:

From Traverse City head west on US-31 for 14 miles, or a mile past M-137, and then turn north on Gonder Road beside Interlochen Golf Course. It's a mile to the trailhead and parking lot.
Parking lot is on the west side of Gonder Road (near Wildwood) The parking lot has two openings - in the winter - the plows may do their own thing. At, parking is a bit confusing when the snow piles up. No worries. We figure it out!

ADDED INFORMATION 1/10/2025 - sent by text too.

We have snow! (This is a good thing) More snow brings more joy.

I am not sure what snow depth to expect at Lost Lake on Sunday. Hiking may be more difficult than alternatives.

It may be preferred to x-ski? Snowshoe?

May I please ask you to bring your x-skis and/or snowshoes to Lost Lake on Sunday?
We'll evaluate trail conditions when we arrive.

We have a nice size group. I am sure we can buddy up and please all snow activities desires and distances.

Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday.
