People: Lois & John, Jocelyn, Jackie, Carrie, Tracie, Kati, Barb & Mike and our wonderful shuttle guys, Henry and Jack
Timing: from 10 AM to about 1:30 PM we didn't see anyone else. After that we followed four teenage boys who were bouncing off the banks in little kayaks.
Sightings: numerous wildflowers, a slug and a bunch of cool fungi
Quote of the day: "I think they make Armor-All from slug slime"
One unplanned swim break, but it really doesn't count when your boat is brand new and you are sitting at the lunch spot.
Two lumberjacks, married to each other
Five hundred turns, and about fifty back ferries, just to get around and through the downed trees
The stream was about 180 cm wide near the put-in, since our kayak paddles hit grass on both sides.
A delightful trip!
