Lake Dubonnet
Tuesday Lois led us on a delightful circumnavigation of Lake Dubonnet. It was a delightful morning, with pleasant light breezes and uninterrupted sunshine. Lake Dubonnet has vast lily wetlands, but these past most of the blooming. There were a few flowers left but the wetlands are a joy to paddle.
We sighted a Sandhill Crane, a family of Swans, and the usual gaggle of geese and the occasional badelynge of ducks.
A pontoon of paddlers: Sharon Hermach, John Bull, George Hermach, Max the Dog, Jocelyn Trepte, Lois
Lois and Sharon, all smiles.
