Angie and John Willis, Tracie Lord, John Heiam, Lois Goldstein and Marlene Puska met at 1:15 at the Forks. All the cars were driven to Brown Bridge and Marv Puska took all the drivers back to the Forks. Marv dislocated his shoulder earlier this year and so he's restricted to being the shuttle bunny. Marlene represented the family on the river. On our way down the river we noticed about six fresh empty cans of Busch in the river. Lois and I were in a tandem canoe, and with Lois' bad arm (and no grabber stick), we were not willing to try retrieving them. Later this month we will go back and get them. We had an uneventful paddle down the river, and finished with everyone dry and smiling. John Willis helped carry every boat but one up the steps. The potty at Brown Bridge is pristine - the nicest in Michigan!
