Still twisty and a bit tricky in spots, but no portages or logs to limbo under. The first part had oodles of riffles. After lunch at Rondo came the many sharp bends with log jams on the outside and some deceptive eddies on the inside of the curves. Love the stretches with canopies of cedars. Gorgeous day. The Sturgeon is right up there competing to be my favorite river.
