3-hr S Branch of AuSable paddle downstream, Chase to Smith Bridge & 3-hr hike back on Mason Tract (10 miles each). A full day with John Walton & pup Winston, enjoying the first fall color of the season. Winston didn't do any paddling so had lots of youthful energy for the hike, covering 3x the trail that we did!
