Come join us on this beautifull stretch of the lower Manistee, about 45 minutes south of Chum’s Corners. We plan to paddle from Woodpecker Creek to Red Bridge.  This section is rarely crowded, and there are several fun riffles along the way. The current is quick, but the river is wide enough to be easily negotiated by adventurous beginners. The waterfalls along the high banks should make this outing a truly spectacular visual experience. Please be ready to shuttle at 10:00, know where you are going, very little cell phone coverage out there.
