We had anticipated 70 degree temps, but after noon, the sky clouded over and it never really got that warm. It wasn't a problem, since we all had the proper clothing, and we enjoyed the solitude immensely. It was good to have time to chat with Bob Fitch, Marlene Puska and Tracie Lord, and always the much appreciated shuttle bunny, Marv. The current kept us moving along, so we didn't have to work very hard at paddling. Highlights: ducks, herons and a soaring bald eagle. A good time was had by all.
