Aug 19 Sturgeon River

A great paddle on the Sturgeon lived up to what I had heard it was. Our Group included Lois, Bob Fitch, Roseanne J, Henry E, Glenn, Jackie, Tracie, Jocelyn and myself Ron C.  It was a day of a few firsts: My first time running the Sturgeon was truly a blast. It was a first for Jackie and Tracie also, first time down the river without  something bad happening to them. Jocelyn was mysteriously moving upstream then downstream then back upstream without a paddle. The weather could not have been better. Thanks to everyone for a very enjoyable experience that I look forward to doing many more times. Flow rate 177, gage ht 2.65 ft.
