September 16 Pine River

This section of the Pine was a much coveted event on the calendar. Ron graciously opened up a couple of extra slots. When it became evident that would not be enough, Lois kindly offered the same trip on Saturday. Both trips filled providing the opportunity for more club members to paddle this popular stretch of the river.

Sunday's trip was delightful with just right weather, beautiful skies & a light touch of color in the trees. The lunch break was restful & relaxing at a landing about half way through the paddle trip. No portages were required but a small slot had to be negotiated around a fallen tree.
