June 27 Sturgeon River

The trip by numbers:
One car, containing Danny, Kathleen, John & me (Lois)
Four boats: two rec kayaks, one teeny whitewater kayak, and one chubby solo canoe
Zero mishaps
One thousand twists and turns
Two hundred fifty: the CFS at the start
Zero other paddlers spotted on the river
Several yellow lady slippers spotted, but we were going too fast to get photos.
One planned swim break for everyone - the water felt delightful!
Eighty-seven: the temperature when we took out.
Seven hundred: laughs and stories
We will be back!
