October 10 - Main AuSable River

A delightful lunch at Shirley's in the Woods, then some construction on M-72, and Marv did our shuttle.  An all woman team: Lois, Jacqui, Marlene, Linda and Cyndi.  Gorgeous fall colors!  Only 2 or 3 fishermen.  And two different great blue herons who sat on logs posing for photos!  Other than the folks who had to go to work, we wondered what others were doing that day that was more wonderful than this?  Grayling to Stephan Bridge.  All was calm, and a beautiful trip!
