We had five for the trip voyage today: Gerald, Susan, Pam, Harold and Paul. We had ordered up a glorious summer day, a river with not too many obstacles (so Paul and Susan could take their Sojourners) and a wonderful Little Bluestem meadow, at the halfway point to have lunch. We got what we hoped for and nothing backordered. Some beautiful little rapids were thrown in along the way, with a few bouts of wind, but nothing we could not handle. All in all, we had a great time, enjoyed each other's company and had some very good conversations.
Editor's note: I heard that Susan brought a homemade peach galette for dessert to celebrate Pam's birthday. Photo by Harold.
