May 6 Boardman Lake

The trip consisted of Tom Lipps and me. Gorgeous sunshine, and a little bit of wind. We found some hunky young guys to help with our kayak hauling. Headed south along the east shore, spotting some avian wildlife. Our hope was to see the new TART Trail bridge close up, but as we approached, the mucky bottom came up to greet us, and I almost grounded out. On the return trip along the west side, we marveled at the pricey real estate and a very unfriendly kayak launch that's under construction. It's obvious that some people who design kayak launches have never actually been in a kayak!
It was great to catch up and get our sea legs back.
