June 25 Boardman Forks to BBL

Irene & Paul, Marlene and I had a delightful trip from the Forks to Brown Bridge Landing. We noticed a few items on the bottom of the riverbed that we plan to pick up next week. Good practice in maneuvering around obstacles. No other paddlers on the river, though lots of folks launching when we took out. Highlight was Ava and Libby, two young ladies from Kingsley HS, who greeted us at BBL, and helped tremendously hauling up our gear and loading boats.
Afterwards we were joined by hubbies John and Marv, for a great lunch at Peegeo's.
