Trip Reports

September 2 Sturgeon River

John Heiam | Published on 9/2/2022
Jacqui's report

10 intrepid paddlers set out to conquer the Sturgeon on a gorgeous late-summer Friday. Jocelyn set off before the shuttle returned in order to be in place on the bridge over the water slide. She took fantastic photos of the rest of us – John, Lois, Wayne and Leslie, John Walton & Piper, Paul and Irene, Harold Lassers and Jacqui Morgenstein. The river was not very high so the usual tricky places weren’t as scary as they can be. In fact the waterfall/slide was so much fun I wanted to go back and do it again!
