We'll paddle the East Branch of the Black River through the Black River Ranch property, starting at Blue Lakes Club Road. The river meets up with the main branch of the Black River about halfway through the trip and continues through Ranch property until the takeout at Clark Bridge Road. 

The East Branch is fast and tricky with multiple portages. Once it joins the main branch, the river slows down for a mostly easy float to the takeout.

This is a rare opportunity to explore a new river that the club hasn't done before! Total trip length about 11 miles, which will take about 3.5 hours, not including lunch break. Coordinates to the put in below:
