Adopt-A-River; Crystal Cleanup

This is not a TAPC event, but we want to let you know about it. If you decide to join this outing, let them know that you heard about it here, since we need to know if this announcement was useful.

THANK YOU AGAIN FOR VOLUNTEERING FOR THE Adopt-A-River Program! As we mentioned in an earlier email, our first river cleanup will be on the Crystal River, May 31st at 9:00 A.M.  Meet at Crystal River Outfitters, 6249 River Rd in downtown Glen Arbor.  We'll start with a very brief welcome/orientation followed by the cleanup at the kayak launch site and then the river. Please let us know if you plan on attending by sending an email to Dennis Becker: beckersupnorth@yahoo.com. A light lunch will be provided following the cleanup. 

We'll have "grabbers" and volunteer vests for your use. It is recommended that you have coverings for your feet, as you never know what's under the water should you tip over. Kayaks will be provided (let us know if you want a two passenger) but you can bring your own if you desire. Bring it to the meeting point, and we will transport it to the river.

 At the bottom of this email is information from Crystal River Outfitters, providing a link for you to sign a waiver, which is required to participate in the cleanup. Please complete the Lease Agreement Waiver before your arrival on May 31st.
