Come join us. . Ron said he  wanted to paddle the Manistee from C38 all the way to Tippy Dam. So here we go!  Come join us for "Ron's Manistee Marathon!" We will be paddling it, in mixed up sections over the summer. Come join us doing them all or whatever you feel like doing. 
This will be a great opportunity to get out of town and enjoy a local river.  This trip will cover the stretch on the Manistee River from  Lucas Road to 131.  The river is wide with quite a few turns and perhaps some underwater obstacles.  They shouldn't be a major problem.  We will be paddling for about 4 hours, and we will stop at the somewhere for lunch. Bring bow and stern lines, chair to sit on if needed for lunch, PFD's to be worn  while on the river.
