September 3 Forks to BBL

A quickly put together trip went off without a hitch, giving Jackie her wish of one last paddle before school started.
The water was high after the recent rains but not especially pushy. We just happened to time the launch in between other groups & seemingly had the river to ourselves. A couple passed by during our rest stop at the horse camp. Two of our group didn't stop there & instead continued on. Thus our group became split, which turned out to be a good thing for that couple that passed by us. The members that arrived earlier at the BBL take out we're able to help the couple by providing a lift back to their car at Scheck's.
Too bad they didn't stop to chat we could have told them they were near their take out!
